About commissioned education

Does your organisation want to develop its competence in medicine, care and health? At Lund University, we offer courses based on the latest research, with a focus on practical application. The courses are aimed at professionals in regions, municipalities, authorities and organisations – both in Sweden and internationally.

What is commissioned education?

Commissioned education is skills development for professionals, where the employer bears the cost. The courses are not open to private individuals.

We offer two types of commissioned education:

  • Participate in an open course – ready-made courses where companies and organisations can buy places.
  • Order a customised course – the course is designed to meet your organisation's needs.

We arrange courses that give higher education credits as well as shorter courses without higher education credits. Our credit-bearing courses are usually given part-time for one or two semesters. They combine course meetings (distance or campus) with self-study. The courses are designed to enable participants to work in parallel with their studies.
