Faculty of Medicine Lund

At the Faculty of Medicine in Lund clinical, health science and experimental research is conducted. We are located almost wall to wall with Skåne University Hospital in Lund. Within walking distance you will also find the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Engineering (LTH), Ideon Science Park and a large number of pharmaceutical and biotechnological companies.

There are about 170 research groups here who are involved in research in the medical and health sciences field. Education is offered at undergraduate level, master programmes and PhD programmes.

Faculty office as well as four departments reside here:

• Department of Clinical Sciences, Lund
• Department of Experimental Medical Science
• Department of Health Sciences
• Department of Laboratory Medicine

In total there are over 1700 researchers, doctoral students, technical and administrative staff.

Parking places are available near the faculty or on the hospital ground. Parking tickets can be purchased using the app Parkster or ticket machine by credit card (MasterCard and Visa).
